Essex’s No 1 Comedy Club Kicks of 2017 in Style!

On Thursday 26th January, Essex’s Premiere Comedy Club returned in Chelmsford Essex at The Lion Inn,
For the first show of 2017.

The sold out show room was certainly in for a treat with the line –up to come - featuring 4 top comedians!

Hosting the night we welcomed Brummie comedianKaren Bayley to Essex, who held the show together brilliantly keeping
high energy in the room between acts.

Opening the show was comedian Matthew Osborn, the winner of a previous ‘ So You Think Your Funny’ competition. Matthew certainly had the audience laughing all the way through his outstanding set.

Next up we welcomed Canadian comedian Chris Betts. Chris has a style that is equal parts confident, thoughtful, ridiculous and mischievous and has been entertaining audiences across the UK ever since his arrival in 2014.

After the interval to close the show comedian Jonny Awsum bounded onto the stage. Johnny’s high energy act, with quirky guitar laced songs certainly proved a sure fire hit! Awsum closed the night with his gangster rap, which saw an audience member join him on the stage playing the one and only ‘Gangster’  instrument …the triangle!

If you wish to be part of the best Comedy Club in Essex, why not head on down on either Thursday 9th or 23rd February. For full show information and to book tickets please click HERE.
