The Comedy Club Chatham
The Bridgewood Manor Hotel hosted another evening of top class stand –up comedy, featuring 3 top comedians from the prestigious UK circuit.
The sold out show at our long standing venue was certainly a big hit with our Kent comedy fans.
Customers at The Bridgewood Manor Hotel enjoyed a 2 course pre- show meal before our 3 top comedians took to the stage.
Our host for the evening was comedian Steve N Allen. Comedian, radio presenter and writer Steve N Allen had a natural stage presence that connected with the packed show room in seconds from him taking to the stage. Comedian Steve N Allen welcomed the Kent comedy fans, having them at ease and laughing .
After appox 15 minutes, Comedian Steve N Allen left the stage after introducing our first comedian Javier Jarquin. Javier has recently been storming the UK circuit after arriving in the UK back in 2010. Comedian Javier is also a well-known act in his native New Zealand and headlines gigs across Europe. Before coming to the UK in 2010 Javier spent 4 years working as a professional comedian in New Zealand. His opening set was very well received by the comedy hungry audience.!
Comedians & host Steve N Allen then returned to the stage to set the joke competition , before breaking for a short interval.
After the interval Host comedian Steve N Allen delivered the joke competition. This went down brilliantly with the majority of audience members taking part. Steve then settled the audience, to welcome our headline act the oldest Jewish comedian on the circuit Mr Sol Bernstein.
Sol Bernstein is the comic creation of Steve Jameson, a top comedy performer himself. The legend that is comedian Sol Bernstein escaped the Pogroms in Russia, the Nazis in Germany, and went on to become the World's 1st all-round entertainer. Comedian Sol had the audience gasping for air during his hilarious 30 minute set!
