Opening Night Wyboston Lakes

Last Friday The Comedy Club &  Comedians  hosted our opening show at out fantastic new venue in at Wyboston Lakes.

Local comedy fans packed into the show room, to enjoy one of our famously funny shows, featuring 3 top comedians.
Making the busy show room feel welcome, was our MC and host comedianKevin McCarthy.
Kevin is one of the top comperes on the UK circuit today, and regularly warms up for the Jools Holland show. He was lso tour support back in 2014 for Lee Evans. Comedian Kevin McCarthy remains one of the biggest and most loved performers by comics and audiences alike
With an ever changing act, and the ability to find humour in any subject, Kevin’s warm personality and utterly relaxed stage persona he certainly put the audience instantly at ease from the off!  Book A Comedy Club Show at your venue

First up was long standing Comedy Club comedian Gerry K who took to the Wyboston stage. Anecdotal, observational and refreshingly honest, Gerry’s 30 minute set held the audience, with many a big laughs bouncing around the show room. MC & Comedian Kevin McCarthy then re-entered the stage to set up the ever so popular Joke Competition! This gave the audience their chance to be in the spot light!

After the short interval Comedian & host Kevin McCarthy delivered the joke competition. Many audience members took part, which weas hailed to be a great success.
Finally it was time for our headliner, comedian Colin Cole. Comedian Colin is literally one of the biggest names in comedy in Australia - not only is he 6' 7", he is also known for his hugely dynamic performance. His delivery was fast and furious, and his material ranged from the topical to the observational. Comedian Colin Cole was certainly enjoyed by all, many for the first time and also their first time in a  Comedy Club Environment.

After the show opening comedian Gerry K said, ‘ It was a great show, really good for their first event. I really enjoyed playing it too’
