STEVE THOMPSON
He's only a new comer to the comedy scene but Steve Thompson has already won Beat the Frog at the Frog and Bucket (Manchester) and Three Minute Warning at the Limelight Comedy Club (Crewe).
Thompson's surreal set keeps the audience guessing as he offers his own unique spin on topics as diverse as the third world debt crisis, his vision of a future world ruled by fierce giants with communication difficulties and the problems encountered by Bolton's resident blind busker.
