PAT GALLAGHER

Pat Gallagher is a Birmingham born comic who lives in the Forest of Dean,He is arguably the best unsigned 20 minute opener / middle 20, in comedy today. He says that for principally one reason only, he loves a good argument. Pat has gigged all over claiming to have played in more toilets than George Michael. Having also headlined in Plymouth and regional south West gigs, as well as numerous regional South West festivals, including playing as support for Wil Hodgson at the ancient order of druids largest gathering in Wales. As well as performing in Bahrain in Feb 06 Gallagher's profile on the comedians website Chortle under the Forum section ' comedians' comments left by others, is an unsolicited appraisal to the quality of his set. Now in his sixth year of performing stand up, the first Four being part time whilst working in Europe in between gigs, (having a young family to support) which that has meant for many promoters they have not seen or know of Pat Gallagher. Those that do book him. Regularly. Those who have not are depriving their audiences of an accomplished act. Gallagher is laid back, mostly, but can beat up on any rowdy room that pays no credence to his sixth years of experience. Having toured with Ian Cognito, and Wil Hodgeson in 2005 Pat Gallagher knows how to play most rooms. One thing is for sure he won't be going away in a hurry. Thanks to his fool proof 'how to succeed in comedy plan' for in order to be all that he intends to be in stand up comedy Gallagher has committed to giving himself 20 years at it. If after 20 years, he has yet to attain his goals he shall implement plan B. (which is to give it another 20 years) should that not bring about his desired comedic goals. Then '' stuff it I am going back to shoplifting, only I will be 84 then and they have a tendency to let you off at that age'', say's Gallagher.
