MICKY FLANAGAN
★★★★★ - The Daily Telegraph
Micky Flanagan is one of the world’s very best comedians and biggest household names today. Coming from a working class background the boy has done good. Flanagan was launched onto the professional comedy circuit back in 1997 after attending a comedy course at Jacksons lane in 1996. With his East End background as he ruthlessly deconstructs the Cockney myth with razor-sharp observational wit and explains how, thanks to a university education and he has become that rare delight - an intellectual Cockney. Micky was nominated for The Edinburgh Comedy Award back in 2007 with his show ‘What Chance change’. This then led him to a show stopping appearance on The Royal Variety Performance and has never looked back. His most recent tour ‘An Another Fing’ sold a huge 6000,000 tickets and broke records. Micky has also become the first comedian to play all 16 arenas within one tour. He also appeared on nearly all TV comedy panel shows on your TV today. In the previous year his shows ‘Out Out’ and ‘Back in the Game’ has sold over a phenomenal 1.2 million DVDs!
