MARTY WILSON
Marty Wilson is the Australian stand-up who appeared on BBC London news the night before the Rugby World Cup Final and bravely predicted ''the Aussies to win by five''. Fortunately, that's about the only step Marty has taken wrong in an eight year career that saw him emerge as the star of top rating Australian national programme The Footy Show. Since arriving in the UK, via Bahrain, Bangkok and Belfast, Marty has been seen on every major comedy showcase and somehow wangled himself a place on the panel for most of the ''I love nineteen eighty series , even though he would have been in Australia for all of them.
