KOJO

Kojo has fast become one of the biggest talents to come out of the black comedy circuit and has been named 'Best Male Comedian' at the Black Entertainment Comedy Awards a hat trick of times.

Co-presenting CBBC's Saturday morning show 'The Mighty Truck', made Kojo an instant hit with his endless energy and comedic timing.

Not letting go of his comedy roots, Kojo has toured across the world from Amsterdam to New York and performed in Ghana and Nigeria where the African Comedy Festival is held and even found time to introduce London's first black comedy club, 'Da Comedy Fun House', which has seen the likes of US comedy heavyweights take centre stage from Dave Chapelle to Kevin Hart alongside the best of the UK's comedy talent.

September 2007 saw Kojo fulfill his childhood dream of selling out the Hackney Empire with a celebrity star studded audience for his second one - man show 'The Fresh Prince of Hackney'. The cream of British talent in TV, sport and music arrived in their droves to support their pal Kojo.

This was filmed as an MTV Base Special 'THE FRESH PRINCE OF HACKNEY' which aired in November 2007.

In 2008 Kojo was part of the triple threat comedy line up on MTV BASE on the show YOUNG GODS OF COMEDY at the Shaftsbury Theatre.

Kojo also hosts features on MTV BASE alongside his fellow MTV BASE Presenters like SPANKING NEW MUSIC and occasional LICK features where he speaks to urban luminaries like Russell Simmons.

Kojo is MTV BASE's fly, fresh-to-death face of comedy.
