KATE SMURTHWAITE

Just back from completing my first solo show ''Adrenaline'' at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Had some great reviews my favourite being ''a little reminiscent of an excitable, slightly irresponsible head girl luring impressionable fourth formers into some illicit fun.'' (National Student)! Also got four stars from three weeks ''This is high quality stand-up not to be missed''. Anyhow toot-te-toot (thats the sound of me blowing my own trumpet). I do some comedy writing, I appear as a panellist on the odd radio or TV show and then the rest of the time I travel from bar to bar, club to club peddling my comedic prattle with only my wit to defend me.
