JOSIE LONG

Josie Long is a female comedians. Starting comedy at a very early age she is starting to make a name for herself. Josie gigs up and down the uk, makes an appearence at the edinburgh festival and even has her own DVD.

She has recently filmed an episode of new Channel 4 comedy THE LAST CHANCERS alongside Adam Buxton.

Josie was the 1999 winner of the BBC NEW COMEDY AWARD, but at just 17 years old, was too young to drink the bottle of Champagne presented to her.

Josie also came second in ''So You Think You're Funny''. She has recently graduated from Oxford University, and is now back on the UK stand-up circuit. Although she is still very young, Josie's act is unnaturally far from girlie adolescence. Her intense surreal rants occasionally subside to politely allow the audience to catch up, before she launches off excitedly on another tangent.
