ONCE described as ''like Eminem rapping Shakesepeare''. James Dodewswell's brand of rhythmic comedy is in the vanguard of a new breed of stand-up.
Winner of the Jongleurs New Act Award in 2000, Dowdeswell is now a seasoned campaigner and a truly international comedian, having travelled as far as Shanghai and Dubai, Melbourne and Singapore.
Fresh from a successful solo outing at this year's Edinburgh Festival, 2006 looks set to be Dowdeswell's year.
