IAN STONE
A veteran of 15 years in the business, Ian Stone was recently voted one of the top 10 best stand-ups by The Independent.
Intelligent, self-deprecating and most importantly, funny, he describes himself as ''a low-class, ill-mannered Jew'', he can make light of almost anything - including the ongoing situation in the Middle East. As he puts it: ''There's a lot of horrible stuff that's been going on and it's been very good for me!''
Ian's many television appearances include The World Stands Up, Never Mind The Buzzcocks , The Stand-Up Show and The 11 O'clock Show .
On radio, he has hosted his own chat show The Big Schmooze, on BBC London, where he interviewed the likes of Jeremy Issacs, Terry Hall, Anthony Sher and Esther Rantzen and worked with Jackie Mason on Radio 4. He was the first British stand-up to perform in Moscow.
