GRAHAM NORTON

Irish comedian and star of his one man show on channel 4 'So Graham Norton', is rare in that he bypassed the comedy circuit, and went straight to Edinburgh and the West End with his one man show. 'Charlie's Angels Go To Hell' and returned next year with 'Graham Norton & His Amazing Hostess Trolley' which earned him the title of Perrier Nominee in 1997.

When he did work the comedy circuit it was his compering skills which got him noticed and his ability to work audiences which were later to be used to great effect on television. He first came to TV notice standing in for Jack Doherty on 'The Jack Doherty Show' Ch5 1997 and won one of many awards.

Graham is best known for his irreverent Ch4 chat shows SO GRAHAM NORTON AND V GRAHAM NORTON, which not only became some of Ch4's highest rated shows, but picked up nearly every award going, including 4 BAFTAS. Graham's new BBC1 Saturday night show STRICTLY DANCE FEVER started was Easter and was a huge success; he also hosted the TV BAFTA's.

Graham's Awards include; Best Entertainment Performance - BAFTA 2002, 2001, 2000. Best Talk Show - National Television Awards 2002. Best Light Entertainment Programme - Broadcast Award 2002. Best TV Comedy Personality - British Comedy Awards 2002. Best Entertainment Programme - BAFTA 2001. Best TV Performance in a Non-Acting Role 2000. These awards are to name but a few, he has numerous more.
