ALFIE JOEY
Having trained to be a priest he gave up the religious life to become a toy demonstrator at Harrods before finding his true calling as a stand-up comic.
A truly international comedian, he has appeared in Bahrain, Dubai and China and in 2003 he became the first western comedian to perform stand-up in South Korea.
Alfie appeared alongside Johnny Vegas in the sitcom Deal for the BBC and was also seen as Joey Callahan in the comedy drama Mad Mack (Channel 4).
Alfie has also appeared alongside Baddiel & Skinner, Al Murray and Anne Robinson of all people.
